Safety is of the highest importance at the job, particularly in hazardous industries like construction, oil and gas, power, and utilities. Employees in these industries should be provided with fire-resistant personal protection equipment and other safety equipment. Personal protection equipment (PPE) that is flame-resistant must meet the criteria set out by the appropriate regulatory bodies. fire resistant PPE works as a protective layer over the skin and can offer some protection to the user. It does not, however, provide complete protection against fire risks.
